Success…something we all want to achieve in the workplace but which some of us find a little harder than others. One thing we’re asking you today is whether you could be performing to a lower standard than your best simply due to getting a poor night’s sleep? Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur or are working your way up the ranks as an employee, one thing is for certain, and that is that a lack of sleep can cause exceptionally low productivity levels.

With sleep deprivation being cited as the primary cause of low productivity in the workplace, this should be a strong concern for employers as well as employees themselves.

One shocking statistic which we recently discovered is that going without sleep for just one night can cause changes in the brain which are similar to a blow to the head as well as the fact that those who sleep less than 5 hours a night over a few nights have equivalent levels of impairment to someone who is OVER the drink drive limit.
